Access to Tier Two: Granted 2007-03-03
News Update

It's been a long time coming, but finally it's happened. Yes, that's right; I've maxed my throwing skill. In other news however, we have recently had a rather notable victory in our new favourite(!) raiding zone, The Demiplane of Blood. Less than a month after the fall of a certain Mr. Hatchett (Harry to his friends), Sanguimanus the Redfang joined our ever-growing list of "People/Things We've Upset This Year". The damn near flawless victory, following weeks or research and practice, welcomes Ancient Dominion to Tier Two of the Demiplane. May the farming commence!

Another recent notable success for us has been beating the Corruption of Ro event in the Prophecy of Ro expansion. We've had several attempts at this in the past and stumbled for one reason or another. Recently, however, we've been firing on all cyllinders and have the event down to an art form, slaying adds left, right and centre and beating down the Guardian of the High Priest darn near flawlessly most times. It's still annoying that this event has a forty-two person upper limit, but as the loot is pretty decent we're still managing to fit it into the schedule at the right time so as to minimise the number of people waiting outside. Welcome to farm status!

SOME THINGS TO THINK ABOUT...

...if you're a tank...

...if you're an Officer...

...if you're a healer...

...if you're a DPS type...

...when we beat the Wailing Sisters event...

...when there's nothing else worth thinking about...

...if we just beat a new event on Valentine's Day...

...if Ogrebane isn't online...

So, clearly we've been jolly busy in recent months. But does this mean we're running out of things to do? HELL NO!! In the coming weeks, we're going to be breaking Tier Two open, pulling out some of its innards and trying to figure out how it works. In fact, we've already started. The last couple of days have seen us throw a few things at somebody by the name of Devlin Rochester, who in turn threw - or, more accurately, "lobbed" - a few things back. Not to be discouraged though, we'll be paying him frequent visits over the next few days to show him what we're made of...

We also had our first visit to a new Prophecy of Ro target a week or two ago to see what that was all about. Daosheen the Firstborn got the better of us on this occassion (though not by much, I must add - 30%), but we'll be back there in the not too distant future to set that record straight too. I for one would rate it among one of the most interesting events I've seen in a long time and look forward to returning... The loot's not bad either!!

That's all for this month's update, but it wouldn't be the same if I didn't leave you with a few words of wisdom from one of our members; this month: Jokskilove. Until next time!!
